My diecast addiction started when I was about 5 years old. I used to get Matchbox cars for
birthdays and at Christmas, and in a few short years I had over 200 diecast models in my
collection. Unfortunately, the entire collection was lost during our Trans-Atlantic move in the
late '70s.I began collecting again in 1981 and again I collected Matchbox cars (Models of Yesteryear and 1-75 series). Well, it didn't take long and I had no more Matchbox cars left to buy, I had them all. Very soon I decided to start collecting other brands and scales. I collect only those models that I like. I don't always buy complete sets or every limited edition released by any manufacturer just so I can say that I have them all. My collection is big enough as it is. Presently, I have over 1,200 1:18 scale diecast models and close to 3,000 more diecast cars in scales ranging from 1:64 to 1:12. My favorite manufactures are Exoto, Kyosho, AUTOart, UT, GMP, Ertl, Bang, Best, Brooklin, Corgi and of course Matchbox.
This web site is an extension of this hobby and my love of cars in general. The purpose of
this site is to show other collectors the variety of diecast cars available and to enable
those dealing with on-line retailers to see the models before ordering. Please note, non of
